Last night an abandoned house next door to ours on Rt. 213 in Rifton, NY went up in flames. We were told that all fire departments in a 50 mile raidious were called in. Felix grabbed his camera a shot this footage. When the firemen exclaim that it's a huge fire, you know it's a big one.

I've been wanting to try The Barn at Bedford Post Inn for some time now, so I was very excited to have the opportunity to visit for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. The Barn has that farm to table feeling from the minute you walk through the door. From chalkboards displaying the fresh baked goods to the post and beam structure, the restaurant set the mood for the delicious meal to come.

For years, I've been a huge fan of Cafe of Love in Mount Kisco. I love the fact that they have local, seasonal ingredients and that they change their menu each season to incorporate those items. So, when I found out that they were participating in Hudson Valley Restaurant Week this year I absolutely had to go.

In case you haven't heard about Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, for just $20.95 you to get an appetizer, entre and dessert for lunch at some of the top restaurants in the region.  For dinner, you get the same courses for just $29.95. What a deal! I would definitely recommend visiting as many restaurants as you can during the next two weeks of Restaurant Week. That's right, it's TWO WEEKS this year!

We just love it when we get our first look at a rough edit and things look good. Earlier today Jeff Haber, our new editor for AMPED, dropped off the first rough edit for an all new round of AMPED episodes. We plugged the file into Final Cut to have a looksy and . . . . HORAY! It looked great. We don't want to give away too much, but we can tell you that we've been hard at work re-designing AMPED and we will be brining you a fabulous new season . . . when it's ready. There's a super cool project underway over at Planet Woodstock and we can't wait to share it with you, but for now you'll just have to take our word for it.
